This blog post is for the Leibster Award, if any of you aren't familiar with it, it's an award to help newbie bloggers get the recognition they deserve.
I've been lucky enough to of been nominated not once, but twice by the lovely, Lauren and Rachel, thank-you so much guys!
This is the first time I've ever really looked into it properly so i'm not 100% sure on the rules, but from what I can gather I must write 11 random facts about myself, answer the 11 questions given by my nominators and then give 11 questions for the 5 blogs I've nominated for the award to answer.
So as I was nominated by 2 people i'm going to do a mix of questions from both Laura and Rachel.
But first here are my 11 random facts;
1. I am a 19 year old Barber from southend.
2. I have a pet pug called Jerry and he is my life.
3. I once went round both islands of New Zealand in a camper van with my Mum!
4. I passionately hate Ugg boots.
5. I have a shopping addiction, I work in town and it's impossible for me to not have a quick nose around the shops everyday.
6. (Stealing this one from Laura) I too am half Asian, but raised with my English side of the family.
7. I have my lip pierced. (it was so painful)
8. I adore old people and thoroughly enjoy chatting to them!
9. I have an addiction to taking pictures, I annoy all my friends with snapping them 24/7, but they will appreciate all the pictures when we are old and grey!
10. I have a secret crush on Gordon Ramsay.
11. Curry is my favorite food ever. Could eat it everyday.
Here are a mixture of the questions from Laura + Rachel.
1. If you had to live somewhere else apart from where you do now where would it be?
It would definitely be New Zealand, ever since I went as a child I've been dreaming of going back. Such a beautiful place and the Kiwi's are so friendly!
2. What are you going to be/what were you for Halloween?
Me and the other half were Team Rocket ( Jesse & James ) from Pokemon! Was such a fun costume and so easy to make!
3. Favourite Book.
My favourite book has to be Gypsy Boy By Mikey Walsh, it is a funny yet completely moving tale of a boy growing up within the traveler community. His stories of a very hard childhood and growing up in this culture where it's safe to say he didn't fit in will have you crying with both laughter and sadness. If you get a chance you must read, only £2.59 on e-bay and it's one of those books that definitely hasn't got the recognition it deserves.
4. What Animal are you most like?
A pug! All my friends say I am exactly like my Jerry, I've always got the sniffles like him and we share a great love of food. And we both have a rustle radar!!
5.How would you describe your fashion sense?
I think if it had to be one word it would be Quirky as that's what all friends and family describe it as but I definitely don't think my fashion sense falls into one category. I love all things unusual, I love vintage/retro clothing but I keep up to date with today's trends too. It totally depends on the mood of when I wake up, sometimes I will feel quite girly, sometimes I want to find the craziest outfit ever, and sometimes I want to be a princess but I don't think the world is ready for my Tiara yet.
6.What one quality/achievement are you most proud of.
I think one achievement I am very proud of was passing my driving test the first time! And one quality I am proud of is my ability to bargain hunt like a PRO. You want value for money, i'm your girl. I don't know many people who can get 7 on trend items out of £30.
7. If you could do any career what would it be?
My absolute dream job would be to get involved in the personal styling industry, I would absolutely love to be a personal shopper, or styling on TV/Film sets. I feel like I could definitely excel in that area, and I am going to do a Personal Styling course at the beginning of the new year... Can't wait!!
8.If you could have any superpower which would it be?
It would have to be the ability to conjure up anything i wanted/needed out of thin air! Imagine the shoes!
9. What inspired you to start blogging?
Well I've always been into fashion and have been enviously following bloggers for quite some time. Everyone around me has always commented on my quirky style and asking me where I get bits and pieces from so I thought why not? I was a bit nervous at the beginning but I've found fellow bloggers to be so friendly and it's a great way to get new ideas/find new shops and meet new people!
10.What was the last film you went to see at the cinema?
The Equalizer with Denzel Washington, SUCH A MUST SEE!!!
11.What is your favourite food.
Curry, no questions asked. All day everyday. Give it to me.
